“The history of education provided to our Native youth does not need to repeat itself for multiple generations. We know how to improve basic skills instruction for all and we must offer this advantage to those who need it most.”

Philanthropic and Foundation Support

The National American Indian, Alaskan, and Hawaiian Educational Development Center is 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving some of the poorest communities in our nation. Without the support of our donors we could not survive.

The Center focuses on foundations, philanthropists, and other private donors who are interested in helping to support either direct program efforts into Native communities or an endowment to ensure the long-term continuation of the Center.

All too often, well-intentioned programs start initiatives to help Native children and families, but dissolve when the initial funding runs out or the task appears insurmountable because of the complexities associated with isolation and poverty. The foundations and philanthropists supporting the Center endowment campaign take the long view that success is within reach, even though it may not be in sight.

The Center is grateful for the significant support it has received from the United States Department of Education, the State of Wyoming, private foundations and the many individual contributors to launch this dream. Schools in the states of Montana, Washington and Wyoming are successfully utilizing the Center’s programs.

Every gift to the National American Indian, Alaskan, and Hawaiian Educational Development Center is used wisely and conservatively. The Center relies on the generosity of people like you to continue its services to schools each year. Children are gifts from our Creator and so are those who lead them. Thank you for your contribution!
